½ tsp onion powder
-
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)

4 hamburger buns (brioche or potato)
-
4 slices cheese (cheddar, American, or pepper jack)

Pickles

Directions
Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions. Gently form patties about ¾-inch thick. Press a small indent in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.
Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Drizzle Worcestershire sauce over patties just before cooking if using.
Grill Method: Preheat grill to medium-high. Cook 3–4 minutes per side for medium. Flip once Add cheese during last minute.
Skillet Method: Heat cast iron or skillet over medium-high. Cook 3-4 minutes per side. Do not press patties while cooking.
Toast buns cut-side down for 30–60 seconds until lightly golden.
Add burgers to buns, top as desired, and serve immediately.
