These classic beef fajitas are made with tender beef strips, sautéed peppers and onions, and bold seasoning. They cook quickly and are perfect for feeding a crowd on game day—or any night of the week.
Ingredients
-
1½ lbs beef fajita strips
-
2 tbsp olive oil
-
1 tsp kosher salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
1 tsp chili powder
-
1 tsp cumin
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp onion powder
-
Juice of 1 lime
-
2 bell peppers, thinly sliced
-
1 large onion, thinly sliced
-
Warm flour tortillas
-
Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, salsa, shredded cheese, cilantro
Directions
In a large bowl, toss beef fajita strips with olive oil, salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, and lime juice. Set aside.
Add beef in a single layer (cook in batches if needed). Cook 3–4 minutes, flipping once, until just cooked through. Remove beef from pan and set aside.
In the same skillet, add peppers and onions. Cook 5–6 minutes until softened and slightly charred. Add extra lime juice or cilantro just before serving.
Serve hot with warm tortillas and your favorite toppings.
Tip: Slice beef against the grain for tenderness
